The Indian Army has informed the Indian Defense Research Development Organization that the Trishul short-range surface-to-air missiles are not acceptable due to design flaws. The Indian Army says it will now look for foreign missiles, but the Ministry of Defense said that the flaws would be corrected and the Trishul program would continue. It has taken two decades to bring Trishul to this point, and the design is still not working.
