Australia has resumed its suspended Project Air 87 to buy 30 armed attack helicopters. A redefinition of the project will allow all six original bidders (some had been eliminated in the earlier incarnation of the program) to re-bid. The program had originally been set for a limit of $960 million (US) but will now be limited to slightly less money.--Stephen V Cole
