The robotic fighter is set to appear. Six European nations (Britain, France, Germany and Sweden, Italy and Spain) have agreed to pool their resources to develop a pilotless fighter. The Robofighter is not expected to enter service for fifteen years. But when it does, it will change air combat forever.
