DMD of the Slovak Republic has designed a new tank turret, designated T21, which could be fitted to T-72, M-60, or Leopard-1 tanks. It mounts a 120mm western gun bought from GIAT of France, as well as the fire control system and other elements of the Leclerc tank. The turret weighs 15 tons and has a lower level of protection compared to Leclerc. The turret carries only 18 rounds in the autoloader, compared to 22 rounds in the Leclerc turret.--Stephen V Cole
