Iran announced that it had successfully tested an advanced anti-tank guided missile called the Saeqeh ("Lightning") 1. No technical details were given, although much was made about it's accurate guidance system and that the missile could destroy any armor in service. Iran has been putting a lot of resources into missile development. Iran has a lot of unemployed scientists and engineers, although the best of them have emigrated to Europe and the United States over the last fifteen years.
