The Air Force is complaining that it is getting only a tiny share of the action (and good press) in Afghanistan. Some attacks involved a dozen heavy bombers but up to 75 Navy tactical jets. The problem is a lack of nearby bases where smaller tactical jets can operate. The Air Force just began attacks with F-15Es based in an unnamed country. --Stephen V Cole
