The US Air Force has sent aircraft to use combat bombing and gunnery ranges in Slovakia for a second time. The Slovaks feel that by allowing the US to use their bombing ranges (space for combat air training is very limited in Western Europe) they are improving their chances of gaining NATO membership.--Stephen V Cole
