Seeking to meet its recruiting goals, the US Army has expanded the number of jobs for which enlistment bonuses are paid, and has increased the top bonuses from the current $12,000 to a new height of $20,000. For the first time, bonuses will be offered for enlistments as short as two years, and also for the first time, enlistees will be allowed to collect both bonuses and college tuition credits.--Stephen V Cole
