Less than a month before flying its Joint Strike Fighter prototype, Lockheed Martin is shuffling its program management team. This has annoyed the Pentagon (and particularly the Marines, who have bet the future of their fixed-wing aviation on a VSTOL JSF that actually works). Insiders report that the Air Force was more comfortable with the Boeing management team and hence was more likely to buy the Boeing JSF.--Stephen V Cole
