Turkey and the US have settled their dispute over technology transfers for the AH-1Z mission computer and the computers on the Boeing-737 Airborne Early Warning and Control aircraft, allowing both programs to move forward. Final contracts are to be signed in June. The Turks will buy 145 AH-1Zs and six AEWC aircraft, doing some of the computer work on each in their own factories.--Stephen V Cole
