The U.S. Army has ordered another 109 Stryker wheeled armored vehicles, at a cost of $1.45 million each. That makes 519 Strykers ordered in the last year. The army has some 1,800 of these vehicles, and plans to have 2,700 eventually, equipping seven Stryker brigades.
