Turkey has formed a National Space Agency to manage its search for military reconnaissance satellites. Turkey was in the midst of buying such satellites from France when the French parliament passed a resolution condemning Turkey for the 1915 massacre of Armenians. Turkey canceled the contract within hours, but has not resumed its search for satellites.--Stephen V Cole
