Greece has ordered four Zubr-class (type-1232.2) hovercraft from Russia and Ukraine for delivery over the next three years. The four craft will cost about $50 million each. Each can carry three main battle tanks or ten armored personnel carriers plus 230 troops. The 550-ton craft can travel up to 300 miles at 55 knots.--Stephen V Cole
