Airmen lift a woman on a litter into an ambulance on the flight line at the former Kelly Air Force Base, Texas, Aug. 30. The Texas Air National Guard C-130 brought 23 evacuees from Beaumont, Texas, to San Antonio before Hurricane Gustav reached the Gulf Coast. Members from the 37th Training Wing and 59th Medical Wing at Lackland AFB, Texas, and from the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve help in the hurricane relief efforts as Hurricane Gustav approaches the Gulf Coast.
