Marines assigned to the Assault Amphibian School Battalion, pilot an amphibious assault vehicle as they prepare to enter the well-deck aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) in the Pacific Ocean Aug. 2, 2004. Boxer recently returned from the central command area of responsibility where they helped off-load personnel and equipment supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
