Nimitz-class aircraft carriers USS George Washington (CVN 73), bkgrd, and USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) conduct an ammunition transfer between ships, Sept. 13, 2004. Truman and embarked Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) are currently participating in carrier qualifications off the East Coast of the United States.
