MAYPORT, Fla. (May 9, 2007) - Peruvian navy submarine Chipana (SS-34) is currently moored at Mayport Naval Station while the crew enjoys some liberty before continuing their part in Submarine Diesel Exercise (SUBDIEX) 2007. SUBDIEX 07 is a bi-lateral, U.S. and Peruvian exercise in support of the Diesel Electric Submarine Initiative.
