U.S. economic reconstruction aid in Afghanistan began last November, in the north, and continues. The major limitation is getting material into the country. Much of the aid is in the form of seed and equipment. Meanwhile, two Predator UAVs have crashed on landing in the last week. The Predator is getting an intense workout in Afghanistan, and such losses are normal when a new system gets a lot of use in a combat zone.
