Fifteen men were arrested in a village ten kilometers south of Kandahar. The men were suspects in the murder of an anti-Taliban mullah. Many prominent mullahs are speaking out against the Taliban, and in response, the Taliban ware warning the clerics to shut up, or else. But having already seen how destructive Taliban rule is, clerical and civilian leaders are speaking out against the return of the Taliban. The Taliban are responding with violence.
