A bronze statue of US president Harry Truman, which was wrecked during anti-American demonstrations last spring, was restored to its pedestal in Athens. Truman's policies helped save Greece from a potential Communist takeover. Greek leftists have never forgiven Harry. History will never forgive the Greek left.
