Slovakia has hired the German company Diehl to modernize the RM70 multiple rocket systems built during the Warsaw Pact years. These systems, mounted on 6x6 Tatra trucks, mount 40 tubes for 122m Katyusha rockets. The contract includes improvements to the launchers and fire control as well as a new improved type of rocket.--Stephen V Cole
