Both Kosovo's governor and KFOR chief Harri Holkeri said that increased security was because of their responsibility to provide a secure environment and not because of any circulating rumors.
The independent Pristina television station Kohavision reported claims that KFOR troops had arrested a suspect in possession of large quantities of explosives. KFOR neither denied nor confirmed the arrest. - Adam Geibel
