  FARC rebels attacked a village in the northwest, killing some 25 civilians. Several buildings were destroyed. The attack was thought linked with recent battles between FARC and AUC. The village may have been seen as allied with AUC.  In the north, the army liberated a village from FARC. The rebels had taken the village earlier in the day.
