After a dramatic chase by land and air, Brazilian drug lord Luis Fernando da Costa was wounded and captured near the Venezuelan border. Da Costa escaped from a Brazilian prison in 1996. He is said to be the ruthless leader of an organization that controls more than half the drug trade in Brazil (South America's largest nation.) He has been trading weapons for drugs with FARC.
