The Venezuelan border is becoming a very dangerous , and confusing, place, with several different Colombian and Venezuelan rebel groups operating there, in addition to Colombian and Venezuelan soldiers and police. People are getting killed, and no one is quite sure who did the killing. Although Venezuela denies it, Colombian rebel groups have been tolerated on the Venezuelan side of the border for years.
