In southern Colombia, the town of Puerto Asis has been cut off from food and electricity by FARC gunmen for about a week. The army is sending more troops down to clear out the rebels, and flying in relief supplies. FARC has been pushed out of areas they once controlled, and in backwater areas like Puerto Asis, they are trying to fight back. FARC will lose, and the loss will further dishearten FARCs shrinking force of gunmen.
