The war against the Colombian leftist rebel organization FARC has become an international one. Under increasing pressure from the army and police, FARC is moving more of its drug operations into Venezuela and Brazil. This has led to more anti-drug operations in those countries, and the capture of FARC members. Brazil is quick to extradite the Colombians is captures. This includes high ranking FARC executives, who thought they were safe outside of Colombia.
