Some 60 police and peacekeepers (150 Jordanians) raided a pro-Aristide neighborhood (Cite Soleil) in the capital, looking for weapons used by pro-Aristide gangs. One civilian was killed during the operation. No arrests were made, and armed men came out into the open only after the police and peacekeepers left.
