President Musharraf  says that the bombing of Afghanistan must end as soon as possible. He said that in response to growing unrest in Pakistan over the bombing. Musharraf  knows that the bombing cannot be ended until the Taliban are toppled. To do otherwise, leaves the Taliban in charge and Afghanistan still a terrorist haven. But this would be more tolerable for the government of Pakistan and other Islamic nations. Islamic militants attacked a Christian church in eastern Pakistan, killing at least 15 worshippers. Militants had been demonstrating against "Western influences" in the area recently. No group took responsibility for the attack. In Kashmir, one group of rebels killed two civilians. Another group of rebels killed two policemen and took over a mosque, which police quickly surrounded.
