Pakistani police have raided more terrorist hideouts, making arrests and seizing documents and weapons. Apparently recent arrests have broken open the terrorist networks because of interrogations and captured documents. But there is also longstanding knowledge of these Islamic terrorist organizations by local police and ISI (military intelligence). The Pakistani government is coming down on the side of opposing terrorism, which puts them in direct conflict with the Islamic radicals. This is not as dangerous as it sounds, as the radicals have made themselves unpopular because of the number of Pakistani civilians they have killed during their attacks.

In Kashmir, rebel violence has left 17 dead.
