Pakistani troops killed some fifty al Qaeda and pro-Taliban tribesmen along the Afghan border. These operations included the capture of an al Qaeda training camp. The army believes there are still up to 300 al Qaeda members in the tribal region along the Afghan border. Others, including Osama bin Laden, are believed to be in southwest Pakistan (Baluchistan), also along the Afghan border, and the Iranian border as well.
