 Continued religious violence in Central Sulawesi has brought in hundreds of additional troops and police and an increase in sweeps of villages looking for illegal weapons. Apparently, this is succeeding, as an examination of shell casings left behind by attackers indicates they are using home made weapons, not army issue or hunting rifles. But military weapons are still out there, held by Christian and Moslem militants.
