Fighting in Aceh left six more dead. The army believes that the senior rebel leaders are still in Aceh and are increasing patrols and raids in an attempt to capture or kill the rebel leadership.
The navy announced that it will spend some $2 billion over the next ten years to buy new ships. It has not been decided where the new ships will be purchased from.
