The army has stopped releasing data on deaths in Aceh. No reason was given, although reports from Aceh indicate the level of violence has not changed. Several people a day (rebels, civilians, soldiers, in that order) die each day. The rebel leaders continue to evade the 35,000 soldiers and police in the province.
