Islamic terrorists have a hard time keeping secrets, and information about who is involved in Islamic radicalism is often available to police informers. But rumors and gossip are not enough to make an arrest, especially since it has become fashionable for a large number of young Indonesians to voice support and enthusiasm for Islamic terrorism. However, the police do get a good sense of how likely it is for more terror attacks to occur. Right now, more attacks are expected. But the police are also capable of rounding up suspects, so that many known terrorists have fled the country, often going to Malaysia or the Philippines. There, local Islamic radicals, provide shelter.
