Russian An-124 transports (the largest in the world) have been regularly moving Australian troops and equipment to Kuwait for the last five months. There have been one or two flights a week. The An-124, which can carry up to 120 tons of cargo, has become popular for moving military equipment. A British-Russian joint venture has seven of these aircraft which are kept busy moving large industrial equipment to out of the way places (especially oil drilling and exploration gear.) The An-124 entered service in 1985 and were used by Australia to move military equipment to Afghanistan (where Australian commandos are still operating.)

Satellite photos show continued construction at areas long known to contain nuclear weapons development work. Independent think tank IISS, asserts that Iraq lacks only nuclear material to assemble an atomic bomb. Evidence shows that all the other engineering tasks have been completed.

The US has been showing allies it's evidence of Iraqi efforts to build chemical, biological and nuclear weapons and this is apparently having some effect. Many national leaders are becoming less strident in their opposition to an American invasion of Iraq.
