Israel says the Dec 30 suicide bomb injured one Israeli soldier and twelve Lebanese civilians. The Hezbollah claims that seven soldiers were killed. It's not easy to recruit suicide bombers, and the Hezbollah has a vested interest in making it appear that the poor fellow did a lot of damage while killing himself for the cause. Of late, a number of suicide bombings have gone badly, making it more difficult to recruit.
