Israel has asked the US to keep sending newer and more modern weapons, and President Bush (after meeting with Prime Minister Sharon) said the US would examine "what more could be done". The Israelis particularly want new intelligence satellites (either their own or those produced jointly with the US) and unmanned drones armed with missiles that could seek out mobile ballistic missile launchers.--Stephen V Cole
