North Korea and the United States have still been unable to agree on a format for talks on how to deal with North Korea's extortion demands. North Korea wants the United States, Japan and South Korea to pay the north large amounts of money, plus food and energy aid, in return for North Korea eliminating or reducing (this is negotiable) their missile and nuclear weapons manufacturing and export operations. China, however, is not happy with North Korea's nuclear weapons plans and is threatening to cut back aid. China has long been a major supporter of North Korea and is, in fact, the last supporter of that nations Stalinist tyranny.
