North Korea continues to play games over negotiations to stop their nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs, in return for large scale economic aid. North Korea has been playing the same childish games for over half a century. The North Korean negotiating tactics represent ancient East Asian customs (much emphasis on saving face and scoring points during discussions) that have become obsolete even within the region. But North Korea, in many ways, is a throwback to ancient times.
