October 27; A local human rights group (FOCUS) has shed light on a brutal anti-terrorist battalion led by president Charles Taylor's son Chucky. The unit, stationed in the troubled northeast (140 kilometers from the capital), has been using brutal methods for the past two years in dealing with real or imagined troublemakers in the area. President Taylor has refused to disband the unit, known as the ATU.
