LURD rebels continue to push back government troops, but have not yet been able to rout the government forces. The government is blaming neighbors, like Guinea, for the rebel success. This is sort of true, as Liberia's neighbors find it easier to tolerate the Liberian rebel camps in their territory than sending in troops to fight them. The deal is the standards one, as long as the foreign rebels behave themselves, their camps are tolerated. Guinea also supports refugee camps full of Liberians, and 7000 more Liberian refugees came across the border to those camps in the last few days.
