The government is reviving it's anti-terrorist squad. The unit was broken up as a tool of the military dictatorship in 1999, when democracy returned. The emergence of Islamic fundamentalism, and many bin Laden supporters, in the past few years caused the government to rebuild the old anti-terrorist unit. Now, these policemen will actually go after terrorists, rather than opponents of a military dictatorship.
