The government has launched a major media campaign, with radio, TV and newspaper announcements, to be on the lookout for attempts by Islamic group Jemaah Islamiya to bomb public areas and infrastructure (power plants, communications, transportation targets). The government says that the evidence has been piling up that Jemaah Islamiya has established itself in the Philippines and is trying to stage a major bombing campaign.
