Fighting around the Burundi capital has left four soldiers, two civilians and 13 rebels dead. One of the clashes involved FDD rebels stealing cattle, the other was an ambush by FNL rebels. The FDD rebels have a ceasefire agreement with the government, and this cattle raid is the first violation of that.
