Burundian sources reported three FDD rebels were slain by African Union peacekeepers. The peacekeepers came from the South African contingent. The FDD launched a night attack on a demobilization camp near Muyange. The attack continued for three hours. The South African unit reported ten mortar rounds hit the camp. Interestingly enough, the camp houses former FNL fighters.
