Sudanese and non-governmental organization sources report that a Sudanese government order to move Christian Easter services from Khartoum to a suburb ignited a clash between Christian worshipers and Khartoums interior security forces. Around 100 Christians were arrested. Several were reported injured (though no reports gave a figure for the injured). This report has implications for Sudans on-going civil war. Almost all of the Christians involved in the incident are from the south Sudan (ie, they are black Africans). The fracas started around All-Saints Church (apparently an Anglican communion church) in downtown Khartoum.
