The government has sent more soldiers and police to the Moslem south, and ordered them to use more energetic methods to stop the Islamic terrorism in the south. This week, another ten people died in the violence down there. The Islamic terrorists are now talking to local leaders, and telling them to go along with the Islamic terrorists, or get killed. This has escalated the battle, because a terrified population is less likely to provide information to the police. However, in the long run, this kind of terror backfires, if the police don't resort to terror themselves. The government appears to be telling the police to avoid terrorist tactics.
