Border guards in Uzbekistan stopped a truck loaded with "stainless steel scrap" at the border when US-provided radiation detectors went wild. The truck was found to have ten containers of nuclear material which, while not bomb grade, could have been used to build a "radiological pollution bomb". The shipment was, by its paperwork, destined for Pakistan, but US intelligence believes it was destined for Iran.--Stephen V
