Workers at the Cape Canaveral launch platforms are no longer allowed to drive their own cars into the facility, as this might make it easier for a terrorist to get close to the launch boosters being assembled. They park a mile away, are checked by security, and then board a bus that takes them to the launch pads.--Stephen V Cole
